This Privacy Policy explains how CLOVR LABS PTY LTD (“Clovr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise handles personal information when you access or use Clovr, including our website, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Clovr is based in Australia and serves users globally. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in Australia and other countries where we or our service providers operate.

1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:
- when you create an account or use Clovr;
- when you submit prompts, messages, audio, images, files, project content, or other materials through the Services;
- when you contact us or otherwise communicate with us; and
- automatically through analytics, logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account and profile information
- identifiers such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and account status;
- billing and subscription information made available to us by our billing providers; and
- support or other communications you send us.
Content you provide through the Services
- prompts, chat messages, instructions, and generated outputs;
- project data, file snapshots, titles, metadata, and related workspace information;
- images and other files you upload;
- audio submitted for transcription; and
- feedback, survey responses, or waitlist and early-access information.
Usage and technical information
- model and feature usage data, token counts, consumption records, and other metering data;
- log data, crash data, performance diagnostics, and error reports;
- device, browser, network, and approximate location information derived from IP address;
- pages viewed, actions taken, referring URLs, and other analytics events; and
- security and abuse-prevention signals.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- authenticate users and secure accounts;
- create, store, update, and display projects, messages, uploads, and related content;
- process audio transcription, AI generation, previews, exports, and sandboxed builds;
- measure usage, calculate charges, administer plans, and manage billing;
- monitor reliability, investigate incidents, debug errors, and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse;
- communicate with you about your account, transactions, support matters, and product updates; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
We use the content you submit to provide the Services to you. We do not use your content to train Clovr's own models. When we use third-party providers to process your content, we do so to deliver the requested functionality of the Services.
4. AI and Processing Providers
To provide the Services, we may send your prompts, files, audio, and related data to service providers that help us operate Clovr, including:
- Clerk for authentication and account management;
- PostHog for product analytics and related telemetry;
- UploadThing for file uploads and file hosting workflows;
- Groq for audio transcription;
- Anthropic for AI generation features;
- E2B for sandboxed code execution and app-building workflows;
- Sentry and Axiom for logging, monitoring, and debugging;
- Autumn for billing, plans, and usage tracking; and
- our hosting, database, and infrastructure providers.
These providers process information on our behalf or as part of the Services they enable. Their handling of data is also subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Uploads and Public URLs
Some uploaded assets may be stored using hosted file URLs. You should only upload content you have the right to use and share through the Services. Do not upload highly sensitive information unless you are comfortable with the risks inherent in online storage and processing.
6. Legal Bases and International Users
Where required by applicable law, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- performance of our contract with you;
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services;
- your consent, where required; and
- compliance with legal obligations.
If you use the Services from outside Australia, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
7. How We Share Information
We may share information:
- with vendors and service providers that help us operate the Services;
- with professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal counsel;
- in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction;
- to comply with law, regulation, court order, or lawful request;
- to protect the rights, property, safety, and security of Clovr, our users, or others; and
- with your direction or consent.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
8. Retention
We retain personal information, project data, prompts, messages, file snapshots, uploads, usage records, logs, and related operational records for as long as we reasonably need them for business, security, legal, compliance, and operational purposes.
If you delete content or close your account, we may still retain copies in backups, logs, archives, billing records, security systems, or other internal records for a period of time or where retention is otherwise permitted or required by law.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for using the Services in a secure manner.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing activities.
You may also have choices relating to:
- account information you provide to us;
- cookies or analytics settings in your browser or device; and
- marketing communications, which you can opt out of where applicable.

11. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, you may not use Clovr.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization where required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Third-Party Services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, tools, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the date above, posting within the Services, or using other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Services after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
